Oscillations Art is a movement arts production company designed to revolutionize how artists move and perform.
Watch the behind-the-scenes origin story of OSCILLATIONS: 30 diverse artists from around the world come to Chicago to make a virtual reality production, “Fire Together,” for Universal Music and Facebook-Oculus.
OSCILLATIONS is the first media #arts company to explore this question, leveraging the extraordinary talent of movement artists around the globe. Informed by pioneering scientists, our movement artists are developing a new dance method that suggests a “universal grammar” of movement. Together with a team of technologists, they’re also developing new modes of performance with immersive technologies, including #virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).
“Fire Together” was a documentary project we shot over the course of a week that intermixed with a music video by the group “GoGo Penguin“. This was both a behind the scenes film and a interview documentary of the process.
