For more than thirty years, triathletes have gathered on the shores of Lake Michigan for one of the largest triathlons in the world. Life Time Tri Chicago is an action-packed tour through one of America’s signature metropolises, offering sprint and international distance courses beginning at Monroe Harbor, looping along Lake Shore Drive, and culminating with a rousing run down Columbus Drive.
Race weekend also includes the Fleet Feet Sports SuperSprint Triathlon and the Chicago Kids Triathlon, one of the largest youth triathlons in the world drawing more than 1,000 children ages 7–14 on Saturday morning.

Shot over 2 days, running back and forth solo to capture swimming, running, biking, awards, and celebration clips. The Yokai team was split up the entire day to capture as much as possible with only a handful of people.
The top video and frames are from my footage while the bottom video is a combined set of everything we got from the event. Though kinda caotic and mainly “Get what you can”, it was a fun time and interesting to see how many people turned out.
