The start of a series of fashion video projects I’m planning on doing throughout the year with various models, hair, and makeup artists. ‘Neon Black’ was with my friend and frequent collaborator Lindsey Marks (Heaven is Hell, Hitwomen, Bunny, Lifelock, Smile, etc) aka Lady Jack. We shot at the California Clipper club during the afternoon prior to opening that night. The goals for these projects are to shoot a short fashion-inspired video that would also develop photos from the project.
Location setup/Lighting
After using the ambient light from the fans and the walls i added a Quasar 4ft tube for the bathroom doors and floor spill, Litepanels 1×1 Astra for the pink backlight from behind the bar, Aputure 120T for the front/side pink light on the left, Aputure LS1 for the above bar highlight, and random Blind Spot Gear scorpion lights for pings and popouts.
