Lauren Underwood is an American politician and registered nurse who is a U.S. representative from Illinois’s 14th congressional district as a member of the Democratic Party. Pete Buttigieg is an American politician and former naval officer serving as the 19th United States Secretary of Transportation.

This was a documentary event involving Lauren Underwood, who I have shot many times in the past few years, and Pete Buttigieg, who I have looked up to since the 2019 campaign when I worked with him on a previous event.
The event was scheduled at a meeting floor of the Hubbard Inn, decorated nicely for x-mas though not very bright for photography – so I was fortunate enough to have my Speedlight and Litepanel 6x with me “Just in case”. Always plan ahead kids.
