Ladies of the House was a documentary series pitch about cooks and chefs in Chicago.
Shot with a skeleton crew of myself and audio opt. Placed a Hive 250 as the key and Hive 100c as the backlight with ambient bar lighting around. Due to serious front windows, i had to curtain off the front as much as possible (due to not having blackout bags) and then unscrew and flag some ceiling lamps. The location also had skylights which changed the ambience over time but was unavoidable in fixing for this project. The director wanted a single angle for all interview subjects due to time restraints and schedule.
