For centuries, it may have been the fashionable thing to relegate backgrounds to a supporting role. Not so today.

Rich in texture, interest, and intrigue, wallcoverings and fabrics from D.L.Couch allow designers to break from convention and invite new experiences of design, using materials that compel creations of art to transcend their boundaries and interact with the surfaces that surround them.

This was a Documentary behind-the-scenes project from the DL Couch fashion shoot for Interior Design magazine by Kristen Miccoli Photography. I was brought on board by longtime friend and industry partner Laura Roeper.

My goal was just an EPK package shoot doing both photos and video throughout the day. This was the first non-NeoCon project with Interior Design Magazine, which I have been shooting with since 2013.
