Flood Lights
This photoshoot was done for Wanda Cobar and her fashion line ‘Liquid Couture’ in 2007 by Chicago photographer, Jason Kraynek. Shot over the course of a day in a warehouse downtown, starting out at ‘Mistress of the Arts‘ salon.
This was one of my shoots while in ‘part-time photographer freelancer’ mode as I had a day job working production and would try to get out and shoot as much as I could during my off time or for friends and clients. This shoot came together fairly quickly and was very run-and-gun as I was shooting solo with a handful of models and a long schedule to get through, but was one of my favorite experiences of the time.
Most of the models I’ve worked with before for Glam Live events, but 2 of them I brought in on my own. Melissa Malan – who was a fellow improv comedy performer with me in Suspicious Clowns, and Ivan Russia – who was a musician friend that I had then shot many times with his band Mr Russia.
