This sketch will be forever fun for me to watch based on the shear reason that what I wrote on paper morphed in a epic character development each night we performed it. It really started off as a 3 minute sketch and each night we got more into character- it got longer and funnier.

The basic premise was a reveal halfway into the sketch that the “pussy” was really a nappy cat. Most of my sketches have always remained the same type of idea- find a situation and take it in the opposite direction. It remains a key point I love to focus on and this sketch remains one of Chris and my best team character efforts in my opinion, and a case in point of why we always worked so well together in improv or sketch material.
We performed it for a show at the Silver Meteor Gallery, and then I wrote a second version that I still have to find somewhere if I have the footage. Also during the first run of the sketch we shaved Marty Hoffman’s head in character of the “boys”, which is footage that I have and will be uploading soon.
